Live Audio on archive.org/etree

Okay, so we've had one show there for a while (thanks to Tyler), but I've finally gotten off my butt and converted a batch of our old live shows to the .shn format. Yep, we're now going boldly into the year 1999 (or whenever shn arrived).

Eventually we'll have everything that's been recorded up (yep, even the bad shows- this is for posterity, after all).

Locals Only

We have a short "about us" blurb in the Santa Barbara Independent this week, in an arts feature section called "Locals Only". See, if you're not called "sweet and serene" often enough in life, well, you become a real prick.

Anyway, we didn't know when this was going to run, and we needed some good news today.

Big in... Riverside!

Ah, the things we learn from Google (and vanity!). The Honey White radio campaign has lurched to UC Riverside, where we charted in the KUCR 88.3 Top 20! The new album was listed at #19 on July 19.

Gig Notes: Red's, Santa Barbara 8/7/05

Set: Unprofessional - Nightfall - Island Fever - Mercy Rule - Let Go - You Let Me Fall - Sean Goes To Africa - Sweet Oblivion - Bottlerocket - The Lightning Rod - Blacking Out

The earliest HW start-time ever saw us open an all-day bill of music and dance over Fiesta weekend in honor of the funk zone's funkiest coffee & spirits lounge. We played a loose but energetic set despite the heat, and even pulled "You Let Me Fall" out of mothballs (it hadn't been played by the whole band since 4/30/03). I tell you, it's something to have Brian's "Sweet Oblivion" guitar as the soundtrack to a great view of the mountains on a glorious day like this one. Every time we have a gig like this I wonder why we don't play outside in daylight way more often.
